Is There A Minimum Or Maximum Number Of Guests?

There is no minimum or maximum guest count required to book a private hibachi experience.

A $550 minimum event spend applies to all bookings.

Whether you’re hosting a small family dinner, birthday celebration, corporate event, or large party, our team can accommodate groups of nearly any size.

For larger gatherings, additional chefs may be assigned to provide the best entertainment and dining experience for your guests.

How Much Does A Private Hibachi Experience Cost?

Our luxury backyard hibachi experiences start at $55 per adult and $30 per child (ages 6–12), with a $550 minimum event spend. Children ages 0–5 enjoy complimentary dining.
Every experience includes:

Question 3

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

A 10% deposit is required to reserve your event and can be paid through Zelle or Venmo.  The remaining balance is due in cash on the day of the event.

When Should I Submit My Food Order?

After your reservation is confirmed, our team will contact you by email with your Food Order Form.
To help us prepare your invoice, coordinate chef scheduling, and order fresh ingredients, we kindly ask that you submit your final guest count and menu selections as soon as possible.
All food orders must be submitted no later than 72 hours before your event. Late submissions may affect menu availability and event preparation.

Question 5

Will The Chef Arrive In Advance To Set Up?

Yes. Your chef will typically arrive 15–45 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up the hibachi grill, cooking equipment, and ingredients.
Our setup process is quick and efficient, allowing your event to begin on time with minimal disruption to you and your guests.

What If I Have Food Allergy?

Please notify our team of any food allergies or dietary restrictions when submitting your Food Order Form.  We will do our best to accommodate allergy-related requests whenever possible. However, because food is prepared on shared hibachi grills and cooking surfaces, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Guests with severe food allergies should notify us in advance so we can discuss available options.

Is Vegetarian Option Available?

We replace meat protein with tofu to meet Vegetarian and Vegan needs, while the price per person remains the same ,with additional ingredients such as extra veggies, salad, and fried rice.

How Long Is The Experience?

Accepted Answer

Approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. This varies depending on your group size, but rest assured the chef does the same thing regardless of your group size.
The chef cooks and entertains all the guests during that time.

What Should I Prepare For My Party?

Can We Do An Indoor Party?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We are more than capable of hosting indoor parties as well. While the majority of our events take place outdoors, typically in backyards, we understand that sometimes there may be no available outdoor space or unfavorable weather conditions.
Rest assured, the food and entertainment experience for indoor parties is nearly identical. Our skilled chefs will simply adjust certain aspects of the show to ensure safety, such as reducing the height of the flames.
For indoor parties, we do require ceilings to be at least 10 feet high to accommodate our setup. Additionally, we recommend having more ventilation options, such as open doors and windows, to ensure proper airflow. However, these details can be discussed and coordinated with our booking specialist once you have made your booking.  Additionally, we suggest that you turn the fire alarm off and make sure there are no sprinklers in the service area. The service area should be close to the window or door.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

We understand that plans can change.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date and secure your chef.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please contact our team as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the event will not incur any additional charges beyond the deposit.

For cancellations made within 72 hours of the event, additional costs may apply due to chef scheduling, travel arrangements, and food preparation already in progress.
We will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests based on availability.

Question 12

Can We Book A Custom Time For A Party ?

If your desired time is unavailable, please choose the closest available and make special notes on the next page about your desired time. For example, if you'd like to schedule 6pm on Aug 22nd, you may choose 7pm on the same date and make notes that you prefer the party to start at 6pm. Once booking is received, our team will work out a plan to better fit your needs. Our team members will reach out to you if your request needs to be adjusted.

Can Customers Provide Their Own Protein For Special Needs?

No. Due to food safety concerns, we do not cook any outside food at this time.

Do I Need All My Details Before I Book?

Not at all.
We understand that final guest counts, food selections, and event details may not be finalized when you’re ready to book.

To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend booking as early as possible. After your reservation is confirmed, our team will contact you to collect the remaining details and assist with planning your event.

Final guest counts and food selections must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to your event.

Does No.1 Home Hibachi Provide Tables, Chairs, And Event Setup?

No.1 Home Hibachi provides the chef, hibachi grill, propane, fresh ingredients, signature sauces, and live hibachi entertainment.
Hosts are responsible for providing tables, chairs, plates, utensils, and any event decorations or party setup.
Our team will handle all cooking equipment setup and breakdown to ensure a seamless hibachi experience for you and your guests.

Question 17

How Do You Recommend I Set Up My Tables And Chairs?

Accepted Answer

We suggest two 8' rectangular tables set up in an L shape, accommodating approximately 10 individuals. Alternatively, three 6' rectangular tables arranged in a U shape can seat between 12 and 15 people.
However, if you prefer a more casual standing setup, you don't even need tables and chairs! We are highly adaptable when it comes to party arrangements, so feel free to discuss your preferences with us.

Can We Add More Person Or Reduce People After Submit The Food Order Form ?

Yes.  Guest counts and menu selections may be adjusted up to 72 hours before your event. Please notify our team as soon as possible if you need to add or remove guests so we can update your invoice, chef schedule, and food preparations accordingly. Changes requested within 72 hours of the event cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

What If It Rains?

Rain or shine, the show will go on. Simply provide any form of cover, such as a tent, garage, or open balcony area, to both your chef and your guests, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the experience regardless of the weather.
