Important Information For Your Event

Thank you for choosing No.1 Home Hibachi. Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience filled with great food, exciting entertainment, and lasting memories. To help ensure everything runs smoothly, please take a moment to review the following terms and event guidelines before booking.

 Booking Process

 

• Submitting a booking request does not automatically secure your event date.

• After submitting your booking request, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Food Order Form, deposit invoice, secure payment options, and the next steps needed to finalize your booking.

• Your event date will be secured once the required deposit has been received.

Deposits

A 10% deposit is required to secure your event date. Because our chefs reserve their schedules and we commit staffing and planning resources specifically for your event, deposits are non-refundable.

However, if written notice is provided at least 72 hours before the scheduled event, the deposit may be transferred one time to another available date, subject to availability.

Payments

A 10% deposit is required to secure your reservation. Your deposit will be credited toward your final invoice total.

The remaining balance is due on the day of your event.

We currently accept Cash, Zelle, and Venmo.

Guest Count Changes

Guest Count

Final guest counts must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the event. Additional guests may be accommodated based on chef capacity and ingredient availability. Charges will apply for all guests served at the event.

 

Travel Fees

To bring the No.1 Home Hibachi experience directly to your doorstep, our chefs travel with professional hibachi equipment and supplies to deliver an exceptional on-site dining experience. Travel and handling fees may apply based on the event location, driving distance, and chef availability.

Any applicable fees will be communicated in advance and included in your final invoice prior to booking confirmation.

 

 

Pricing & Party Minimums

• Adult pricing starts at $55 per guest.

• Children’s pricing (ages 6–12) starts at $30 per child.

• Children ages 5 and under are complimentary.

• A minimum booking amount of $550 applies to all events.

• Additional travel fees may apply depending on your event location.

Food Selections

• No need to finalize meal selections at the time of booking.

• A Food Order Form will be sent after your booking request is submitted.

• Final food selections and guest counts should be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the event date.

• Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions as early as possible.

What You’ll Need To Prepare

• We bring the food, hibachi grill, and your No.1 Home Hibachi chef directly to your doorstep.

• We kindly ask that you provide tables, chairs, plates, utensils, decorations, and a suitable outdoor setup area.

• Need tables and chairs? Event rental options may be available in select service locations for an additional fee.

Event Rentals

• Tables, chairs, plates, and other rental items must be requested at least 7 days prior to the event date to ensure availability and proper coordination.

• Rental availability is not guaranteed and is subject to inventory and scheduling.

• Rental fees are non-refundable for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled event date, as rental inventory, staffing, and logistics may have already been arranged specifically for your event.

Gratuity

• A 20% gratuity is recommended and goes 100% directly to your chef(s).

• Gratuity is not included in the listed menu prices.

 

Event Timing

• Our chef(s) typically arrive approximately 15–30 minutes before your scheduled event start time to prepare and set up.

• Most hibachi experiences last approximately 75–90 minutes, depending on party size and guest participation.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• We understand that plans can change. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to modify or cancel your event.

• Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled event date. This policy helps cover chef scheduling, staffing commitments, and food preparation costs already incurred on your behalf.

• Rescheduling requests are subject to chef availability.

TERMS & CONDITIONS / LIABILITY WAIVER

Property Damage

No.1 Home Hibachi is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Hosts are responsible for ensuring that the event space is suitable for an outdoor hibachi setup.

No.1 Home Hibachi, including its employees, contractors, chefs, and representatives, shall not be held responsible for damage to personal property occurring before, during, or after the event, except where required by applicable law.

By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for your property and the property of your guests during the event.

Food Preparation & Independent Chefs

No.1 Home Hibachi partners with experienced independent hibachi chefs to provide memorable in-home dining experiences.

Independent chefs are responsible for complying with applicable federal, state, and local food safety laws and regulations. While No.1 Home Hibachi does not independently verify each chef’s compliance with every applicable requirement, we expect all chefs to maintain high standards of professionalism and food safety.

Because chefs operate independently, No.1 Home Hibachi cannot guarantee individual chef performance or be held liable for actions outside of our direct control.

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Guests with severe allergies should exercise discretion and notify us before the event.

Force Majeure

No.1 Home Hibachi shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, or emergencies.

Policy Updates

No.1 Home Hibachi reserves the right to update these Terms & Policies from time to time to reflect operational needs and legal requirements.

The most current version will always be available on our website.
